Prepare for a day full of adventure and discovery of the incredible Kimberley region of North Western WA. After being picked up from your desired pick up location in Broome, relax and settle into your comfortable seat on the custom built 4WD tour truck. Journeying north, you will first stop at the Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community where you will enjoy a delicious morning tea. Afterwards, visit the Sacred Heart Church and see its glimmering pearl shell altar. You will then continue north to the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm for a tour of the farm and a deep dive into the history and cultivation of the world's finest pearls. Indulge in a delightful lunch prepared by the chef at Cygnet Bay's licensed restaurant overlooking the turquoise waters of King Sound.

After lunch, depending on the tides of the day, you will board the Giant Tides Cruise or head out on the Kimberley Island Explorer. During your Sea Safari, cruise through the Sunday Island group of the Buccaneer Archipelago and experience the enormous power of whirlpools and standing waves. Learn from your experienced skipper who will provide fascinating insights into this extreme tropical environment and how this not only affects the people of the Kimberley Coast but also how it powers the Australian pearling industry. Finish off your journey with a drive back to the pick up point in Broome, arriving at approximately 6:30pm. This is the perfect day trip for you and your friends or family, whether you are looking to explore some of the incredible landscapes that the Dampier Peninsula has to offer, or experience a deep dive into the incredible culture and history of this amazing part of Australia.

Session Length

  • This experience has a duration of approximately 12 hours
  • Tours depart daily (except Saturdays), from April to October at approximately 7am and return at approximately 7pm
  • Throughout June, July, and August departures on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday are guaranteed with a minimum of only 2 travellers, while departures on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday require a minimum of 6 travellers to proceed

Guidelines

  • Due to the condition of the Cape Leveque Road, this tour may not be suitable for pregnant women or travellers with back problems

Cancellation

  • If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply
  • A cancellation will only be effective when the provider receives written confirmation of the cancellation
  • If you cancel a trip: between 15 and 30 days prior to departure, the provider will retain the deposit; between 4 and 14 days prior to departure, the provider will retain 50% of the total booking cost; 72 hours or less prior to departure, the provider will retain 100% paid by you in connection with the booking
