Whether you are a beginner or a serious amateur photographer; this course will give you a better understanding of the basics like shutter speed, ISO and aperture, as well as creative concepts like composition and tone. Get creative with your compact camera and learn how to shoot landscapes and people with ease and confidence. A small class means individual guidance when needed.

Participants will need: a camera, lenses, fully charged battery, rain protection if needed.

Session Length

  • Please allow 3 hours for this experience
  • Available on Saturday mornings at 9am

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 10 participants with 1 professional instructor. Minimum numbers of 4 must be met for this tour to go ahead.


The experience is weather dependent. Participants are requested to bring their own rain protection. A weather check is done the night before and early morning on the day of the course. If rain is predicted, the experience will be postponed to the next available course.

There are no restrictions but participants should be aware that there is some walking with their equipment involved. No age restriction but participants under 16 must be accompanied by a full paying adult.


Once your experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.

  • Changes to Your Booking: You may make a change to your booking prior to 48 hours before the course commencement, and you will be able to take the next available course, pending availability. Only one date change is allowed before forfeiture
  • Not attending a confirmed place on a course without prior arrangement (No Show) means an instant forfeiture of your place on the course.This course may be disposed to inclement weather conditions, proving too difficult to run the course. If this is the case, you will be offered a place on the next available course
