Discover the sacred land of Australia’s red centre on this four day camping and bushwalking trip. You’ll be driven over stretches of desert to off-the-beaten-track places that truly represent the authentic Aussie outback. You’ll bushwalk in these areas, getting up close to native wildlife and stunning natural landscapes. Wander through the iconic domes of Kata Tjuta, marvel at the giant rock formation that is Uluru. Dine under 1000 stars and participate in a camp that asks for the group to socialise and work together to clean up and prepare meals.
You’ll be taken on an interpretive cultural walk as well as to discover the rocky chasms and lush oasis’ of Kings Canon. Learn about the spiritual significance of this area to Australia’s Indigenous people at the Uluru Cultural Centre. Guided nature walks will give more insight about how important the area is to local Aboriginal communities.
This camping trip is the ideal escape if you want to escape the hustle and bustle while not completely roughing it. You’ll be able to get back to nature and experience the outback in a truly unique and authentic way.

This tour runs with up to 24 participants, usually averages 15. Please be aware that everyone on the tour is expected to work together to clean and prepare some meals. You will need to bring a sleeping bag with you.

In Winter (June, July, August) night time temperatures in the desert can reach below zero overnight. From October to March it's likely that you will experience temperatures of over 35 degrees and sometimes into the 40s. Measured in Celsius.
Please bring comfortable clothing that you can be active in. Loose, cotton clothing that will protect you from the sun is recommended. It is important to bring sensible walking shoes, sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen. The Australian sun is very strong. In the night it gets very cool, you will need layers and a jacket. Thermals and a beanie (warm hat) are recommended for the colder months.
