Explore the diversity of the Great Ocean Road in relaxed and comfortable style. Discover the native wildlife, coastal towns, rainforests and Twelve Apostles between Adelaide and Melbourne, along with ocean view accommodation and beautiful food at award winning restaurants.
This three day trip begins by travelling into the Adelaide Hills to explore Hahndorf, a traditional German town, and Mt Lofty Summit with sweeping views of Adelaide. Then it’s on to Keith for lunch, before a visit to the scenic Coonawarra wine region which boasts one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon regions of the world. After sampling some local wines from this highly awarded region continue on to your first overnight destination, ‘The Commodore’ at Mt Gambier. After breakfast, travel on toward the Shipwreck coast, the ‘blue’ crater lake in Mt Gambier and Port Fairy before visiting Tower Hill Reserve where you are likely to see emus, echidnas, koalas, and kangaroos.
Then, it's onto the Great Ocean Road with the impressive limestone stacks of the Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands, before discovering one of Australia’s natural icons, the Twelve Apostles. You will also have the opportunity to pay extra to fly high above the coastline, viewing the apostles from a helicopter. Travel through the Otway National Park to your 4 star accommodation set high on a hill with great views overlooking the Southern Ocean.
After breakfast on your third and final day, the journey turns towards Melbourne and you'll travel along a very scenic section of the Great Ocean Road. Stop for lunch at the largest of the seaside villages, Lorne and then take in the surf culture of the region with a visit to Torquay and Bells Beach. Travel into Melbourne over the ‘West Gate Bridge’, and be dropped off at your accomodation in Melbourne.
Please note, tours operate with a minimum of two people. If you are travelling solo, please contact experience provider prior to booking to check there is at least one other passenger booked in for your preferred date.

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

This experience will still go ahead in the event of rain or inclement weather. If the experience does have to be cancelled due to dangerous weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.
