Looking for a new way to see the coast of Western Australia? Perfect for beginners, this sea kayak tour is the perfect way to get up close and personal with the wildlife and marine life in the Shoalwater Marine Park, while taking in views of sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
You'll be picked up from Fremantle en route to Shoalwater Marine Park. On arrival, you'll be fitted out with a sun shirt, hat, life-jacket and snorkelling gear. And after a quick kayaking lesson from an experienced guide on the beach, you'll head out!
Your guide will share local knowledge as you see sealions, a pelican colony, fairy penguins and rugged islands and beautiful beaches. After all that kayaking, we're pretty sure you will have worked up a bit of an appetite, that's why you'll be provided with morning tea and lunch.
This tour is a great sampler of what sea kayaking is like but at a gentler pace to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your kayaking experience! Relax as you take in stunning views from the water's edge.

This tour is approximately 40 minutes drive south of Fremantle, or an hour south of Perth City.
This tour is available seven days a week from mid September to May and is subject to availability. We pick up from Fremantle Train Station at 7.30am., or meet at 154 Arcadia Drive, Shoalwater 8.15am., we return to Shoalwater around 2pm, returning to Fremantle approx 3pm.
To participate in this tour you will need to be at least eight years of age. All children under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Please note: If you weigh over 100 kilograms please advise the tour operator at the time of booking.
Minimum 2, maximum 16.
Spectators are welcome and can join the group of kayakers on Penguin Island by catching the ferry.
This tour maybe cancelled due to bad weather. Your tour operator will contact you in the evening on the day prior to your booking to reschedule.
We provide snorkels, masks and fins from November to April, when the ocean is warm and generally calm.
