Penguin and Seal Island Sea Kayak Day Tour
Relax and take in the sights and sounds of the Shoalwater Marine Park. This sea kayaking tour of Penguin and Sea Island is unforgettable and it includes morning tea and lunch!
Looking for a new way to see the coast of Western Australia? Perfect for beginners, this sea kayak tour is the perfect way to get up close and personal with the wildlife and marine life in the Shoalwater Marine Park, while taking in views of sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
You'll be picked up from Perth CBD or Fremantle en route to Shoalwater Marine Park. On arrival, you'll be fitted out with a sun shirt, hat, lifejacket and snorkelling gear. And after a quick kayaking lesson from an experienced guide on the beach, you'll head out!
Your guide will share local knowledge as you see sealions, a pelican colony, fairy penguins and rugged islands and beautiful beaches. After all that kayaking, we're pretty sure you will have worked up a bit of an appetite, that's why you'll be provided morning tea and lunch.
This tour is a great sampler of what sea kayaking is like but at a gentler pace to ensure you thoroughly enjoy your kayaking experience! Relax as you take in stunning views from the water's edge.

Venue:
Tour departs Perth CBD, Fremantle or Shoalwater.
Session Length
This tour is available seven days a week from 1st October - 30th April ONLY and is subject to availability. You will leave Perth at approximately 7.30am or Fremantle at approximately 8.00am and return at about 4.00pm.
Guidelines:
To participate in this tour you will need to be at least eight years of age. All children under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Please note: If you weigh over 115 kilograms please advise the tour operator at the time of booking.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. Please note that on the day, your experience will operate with a minimum of two participants and a maximum of eight participants.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome and can join the group of kayakers on Penguin Island by catching the ferry.
Weather:
This tour maybe cancelled due to bad weather. Your tour operator will contact you in the evening on the day prior to your booking to reschedule.
Other Info:
The tour operator will provide long-sleeved sun shirts, hats, and personal flotation devices.
