Main Description

Skydive directly over the beach in Wollongong and experience the widest blue yonder you will ever know. Securely attached to your experienced tandem instructor, you will be guided through your entire skydive. Your adventure will begin with a safety briefing followed by a scenic plane ride to height over some of NSW’s most spectacular beaches. As the excitement builds, your expert instructor will prepare you for the countdown and together you will make the ultimate jump from up to 14,000ft above the beach.

After you experience freefall reaching speeds of up to 220km/h for up to 60 seconds, your instructor will pull the chute and you will soar serenely like a bird for over 5 minutes taking in the breathtaking views. If you are feeling brave, take control and steer the parachute – don’t worry, we’ve got your back!

Your Australian Parachute Federation Levy is included in the price of your skydive so you have nothing more to pay on the day.

Please Note: Transfers are available Monday - Friday ONLY from the Sydney CBD. There is only a limited number of spaces available so you must book as far in advance as possible. Spectator transfers are also available. This is at an additional cost of $30, payable directly to the supplier.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Wollongong, NSW - approximately 60 minutes south of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length

This experience is available on weekdays from sunrise to sunset, excludes public holidays. Allocate half a day as exact take-off time depends on the winds! However if you are taking advantage of the free transfers please allow more time. There is plenty to do the area to make up the time.

Guidelines:

You must be aged 12 years or more, with a maximum weight of 115kg. There is $50 surcharge if you are over 95kg and $75 if you are over 105kg. This is payable directly to the supplier. Please note: If you are under 18 years, you must have a legal guardian attend to sign paperwork.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We can cater for groups of up 100 people per day. Please book a minimum of two weeks in advance. Bookings are subject to availability.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch the landings from the beautiful beachfront park. Bring a picnic and make use of the free BBQ facilities. The park is surrounded by restaurants and cafes and there is a good pub just down the road!

Weather:

Skydiving is weather dependent. In the case of poor conditions we will reschedule your skydive for a later date.

Other Info:

No alcohol or recreational drugs are to be consumed at least eight hours before your skydive. You must bring your voucher to the drop zone. Photos and DVD packages can be purchased on the day, Photos or DVD only = $149, DVD+Photos = $169.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes can be made to your skydive booking with 48 hours notice – please contact the supplier directly to make changes Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours are subject to loss of $110 deposit or entire payment If you do not arrive at the drop zone at your allocated booking date and time, no refund will be issued unless sufficient evidence is provided directly to the supplier

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Experience, deffinately going back One of the best experiences I've had thus far. Im in the process of completing flight hours for helicopter license and I ride motorbikes and this beats it hands down. Deffinately going back soon and looking into doing my skydiving license too. Only thing I dont see much value in is the price for dvd photo package but then again most people will ever do a one off experience and want to cherish the memories so will pay the money for it. Staff were excellent, knowledgable, very friendly and gave great advice. Have already recommended to my family and friends and will be going back within the next month if time and money permit. 8 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best thing I have ever done. This was my first time skydiving over the beach at Wollongong, and it was even better than I had expected. It was the best activity I have ever done and it was made even better by the experience and friendliness of my instructor, Brad. He explained everything and made jokes, and the DVD he made was really excellent and great to watch. Would definitely do it again and intend to in the near future. 2 April 2013
