Go hot air ballooning in Greater Sydney! Float above the historic Macarthur region or Penrith Valley in a beautiful balloon! Peaceful yet exhilarating, the hot air ballooning lasts for approximately one hour. Your Sydney adventure will finish with breakfast and a champagne toast!

Take off to experience breathtaking views in a dream scenario - hot air ballooning at sunrise. Float with the breeze over the picturesque landscape while viewing the stunning vista of the Blue Mountain to the west and the glistening ocean to the east.

You will be welcomed by your pilot and friendly crew one hour before sunrise. Tea or coffee is available while you listen to your flight briefing. You are then transported to the pilot's chosen launch site depending on the wind conditions. Here you can either help with the inflation of the balloon, or you are welcome to stand back and take photographs.

Once inflated you climb into the basket for a briefing with your experienced pilot. When airbourne, relax and enjoy the sensation of floating as one with the wind. As the balloon drifts serenely you can take pictures of the beautiful surrounding area or just enjoy the excitement, peace and tranquility of your balloon ride.

After approximately 1 hour of hot air ballooning you will be greeted by your crew as you land softly back down on earth. The romance of the morning continues as you feast on a sumptuous champagne breakfast and celebrate the most exhilarating morning of your life!

Venue:

Camden, Greater Sydney, NSW.

Session Length

Approximately 4 hours in total from check in to champagne celebration. The flight itself is 1 hour. Meeting time is approximately half an hour before sunrise. Flight operate Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. This experience is not available in July and August due to adverse weather.

Guidelines:

Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for the hour's flight. We will need to be informed if someone has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying e.g a back problem. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 people in the basket with you during your flight.

Weather:

In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight is cancelled at the pilots descretion. Flights are usually confirmed the night before.

Other Info:

Bring a hat and your camera as there are fantastic photo opportunities. Please note, this weekday option for this experience now departs Parramatta rather than Homebush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing I had been wanting to go hot air ballooning for a long time and when i did get to go i was not disappointed! We drove out to our take off location and the balloon was quickly inflated. The take off was smooth and the view was amazing, with the sun just rising. We were lucky enough to have a perfectly clear day and could see as far as the city. As it was a bit windy the pilot found it a little hard to find a place to land so we kept flying til he found a safe spot. After we landed we all helped pack up the balloon and got back on the bus to head back for a yummy breakfast and some champagne. I would definitely recommend this experience, its something you have to try at least once. 2 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by We had a fantastic time. The staff were well organised and friendly and the whole experience was great. If there is any criticism it would be the recorded message when ringing the night before to confirm it was on. I had to listen to it three times to make shore I had all the information. But other wise I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone even if they were a little hesitant about heights as I felt safe and confident the whole time. Thanks very much to all involved. Despite it being cloudy and a bit hazy, it was a great experience, with friendly staff and pleasant company on the trip. It is a complete experience from the filling of the balloon to the flight and then to deflating and storing the balloon. This was followed by a hearty breakfast. 21 March 2013
