Come on board for a fishing trip on the magnificent Port Phillip Bay, just minutes from Melbourne. Take your chance at hooking a snapper, whiting, salmon and other season species - they are all just a cast away! During your fishing trip you will also enjoy a sausage sizzle lunch.

Catch the target species of the season including Snapper in Spring and Pinkies, Flathead, whiting and other local species through Summer and Autumn snapper.

Your fishing vessel will be located an easy five minute walk from St Kilda. Upon arrival you will be given a full safety and security brief prior to the vessel leaving port.

Our boats have marine toilet facilities, a large customer ice box, plus fish-finding and GPS equipment to make your fishing day more successful. Your skipper takes real pride in his extraordinary knowledge and passion for fishing, life at sea and the environment.

Your trip will include:
* A half day fishing charter on Port Phillip Bay, leaving from St Kilda Pier
* Easy-to-use spinning reels and equipment
* A sausage sizzle
* Your catch cleaned and bagged, ready to take home
* Fully licensed

Please note: Please note: Fishing trips are available September - June ONLY. ( No guarantee can be made of catching a fish/ or a guarantee of the weather conditions on the day. Fishing is a sport of chance. Our fishing team will aim to maximise your chances with on board tuition and the latest technology in fish finding.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

St Kilda Pier, Melbourne - approximately 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Session Length

Trips are Sep - Dec with a 11:30am start, or Jan - June 6am or 11:30 am (Subject to weather) . All trips are 5 hours in duration. Bookings should be made 14 days in advance. We request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. No fishing through winter (July - Aug).

Guidelines:

You must be over seven years of age. You need to inform us if you have diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, or other pre-existing medical conditions or if you are on medication. Not suitable during pregnancy or for those deemed at increased health risk. We have the right of refusal.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 passengers. Please note: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation. A no show on the day or late cancellation will result in a forfeit of your voucher booking.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This trip may be cancelled in the event of strong winds and swell. In this case, the supplier will reschedule your experience (refunds will not be given). Make sure the mobile number provided is contactable the night prior to departure as the supplier will contact you if the trip has been cancelled.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign a liability release form prior to departure. The vessel has full facilities on board. Alcohol is permitted in the form of canned beer only and with a limit of two cans per person.

Cancellation Policy:

The skipper reserves the right to cancel or cut short a trip if he is concerned about safety.Please note: Fishing trips are available September - May ONLY.
24 hours notice is required to change the date otherwise your voucher will be forfeited.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic, plenty of fish caught was a great morning. Fantastic, well organised the staff new the spots and what they were talking about, they took care of all the hard stuff (baiting, gutting etc..) we got to keep everything we caught that was legal size. the only things I could say may have been improved would be: Complementary Soft drink/Bottles of water on board (got thirsty no drink) Staff need to explain how to fillet the fish because we struggled when we got home. Parking is $12.80 on credit card :( not their fault. 21 April 2013

Was bought for my partner and i, we had a ball! the staff right from booking the trip to the actual staff on the day had top quality customer service. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Would be suitable for experienced or if your like me the amature fisherman. We both learnt a lot too, everyone caught a fish. Would highly reccomend these guys and would definately go again :) 8 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic, worth every penny! I booked this experience for my husband as an anniversary gift, as my husband has a crazy love for fishing... I wasnt sure as too how the experience would go until my husband went onto the trip. The big day finally came, and once my husband came back... I could see how over joy he was and how much excitement for the fantastic day he had. He explained to me how wonderful the team were, and the trip within itself was very successful.my husband came home with many beautiful fresh fish... as my husband loved it so much I re booked it again for the following weekend, and once again he came home over the moon and this time with more fish! A big thank you to the team. I would advise many others to give this trip a go, if uou are mad about fishing... then this place is just for you. For the price and the experience that you gain... you'd be silly not to give it a go! 16 March 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrating I was very excited looking at the Ad and big fish picture. In reality, most catches are under size. NO BIG FISH AT ALL. I got nothing, not even a under-size, though fishing is my hobby for last many years. 13 March 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by My husband was a little disappointed with the overall experience Firstly took over an hour to get to the location to fish. Then whatever you caught was put in a central bucket/bin so you didn't get to take home the fish you actually caught and all the items were divided equally rather than each person get their own bucket and they take what they caught. Also, we booked another experience directly with them as my father wanted to go. Because their system was down, they sent an SMS at 9.30 at night saying we had to bring cash. They could have charged the Credit Card the next day but insisted it had to be cash. Dissapointing service given we already paid for one and we were not running away with the money. Overall very average experience. 26 February 2013
