Get behind the controls of a passenger jet in a simulator used by pilots for training (e.g. University of NSW etc). You can take off and land at more than 24,000 Airports around the world, with Hong Kong Kai Tak, Sydney and Innsbruck being firm favourites.

Main Description

Depending on how adventurous you want to be the flight can be tailored to your requirements e.g. you can choose what airport you use, weather conditions, time of day, night, dusk or dawn and whether you would like to fly a 180 passenger jet under the Sydney Harbour bridge etc.

And, the experience is suitable for those without any flight knowledge right up to airline pilots! And, don’t worry about flight jitters... anyone can do it with the help of the friendly commercial pilot instructors. So, why not give it a go and enjoy a unique experience?

Two of your friends can watch you fly for FREE from the jump seats in the cockpit or from our CCTV in the lounge area.

The flight simulator is located at Bankstown Airport, with plenty of free parking available right outside the premises.

The voucher is valid for 1person, however there is an extra seat in the simulator so a spectator can join you.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome, there is a seat in the simulator that can be used by a spectator.

The kids got to watch (ride) along They chose the fun destinations, and challenges, like flying under the Eiffel Tower, under the Harbour Bridge, around Uluru and almost touching the Hollywood sign. The staff in particular made the experience even better providing detailed information into the operation of the inflight systems and approaches to the number of airports that I experienced. 5 March 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by A reasonable experience, not great. The instructor was ok but probably lacked experience flying an A320 and it showed in some of his answers to my questions. Some of the equipment was inoperable on the day so he could not show me some functions. Overall it was a bit of fun but probably less than I expected for the money. 22 January 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dissapointing Sadly it appears that basic maintenance of the simulator was lacking. The auto pilot was out of action as were some of the other features. Half way through the flight the left hand projector broke down, so we only had half an image displayed. I also think it's stretching the truth to say that pilots use this simulator for training, it's basically a toy and would probably do better business if it where set up at Darling harbour. 20 January 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by A disappointing experience The flight simulator system was not working correctly and the destination was not able to be found, so all that occurred was that the aircraft could just take off from one airport, fly in circles and land at the same airport. When landing, there was a problem with the landing gear and so a normal landing was not possible The actual flying experience was good, however you would think that everything would be working properly for the purchased experience. Disappointing as this was a 50th birthday present gift. 18 January 2013
