Don the leather flying helmet and goggles and get ready for a flight of pure nostalgia, from an era of romance and excitement. Let the wind blow through your hair as you experience the thrill of aerobatics in a 1940’s vintage open cockpit bi-plane – the Tiger Moth.

Upon arrival at the hangar, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the vintage, open-cockpit Tiger Moth aircraft (with plenty of time for photos) where safety aspects will be explained. Then you will be helped to strap yourself into your seat. You will be sitting at the front of the aircraft and your pilot will be sitting behind you. When all is ready and the propeller has been swung to start the engine, you will be up and away on your flight.

You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you, explaining the Manoeuvres and being as adventurous with loop the loops and rolls as you wish. Alternatively you can choose to just sit and watch the world fly past while your pilot points out the areas of interest.

On return to the Hangar you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew where there is an opportunity for some more photos.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff Revenge!! This was a Christmas present from my staff. A wonderful gift and a tremendous experience. Was a bit hairy and I admit to being a little nervous - but a great day out - and the guys there were excellent. Definitely worth it! 7 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by After being strapped into the cockpit by Andrew, Leo the Russian Pilot took me on a fantastic flight over the Warragamba catchment. He banked the plane for me to get some good snaps of the dam wall. He was very informative with regard to the area. Then the fun began....I was sitting in the front, stuck to the chair by the G forces as Leo put the 1945 Tiger Moth through Barrel Rolls, Spins, Loops and other maneouvors that my stomach only remembers. It was awesome and I have enjoyed being alive to tell the tale. If you read this Leo and Andrew......Thanks heaps for a great experience. 28 April 2012
