Experience an exhilarating event where you get to ride in a V8 race car on a high-speed Clubman circuit configuration at QLD Raceway. For 5 amazing laps, you’ll be driven by one of our experienced V8 race drivers in the front seat.

Your V8 drive day begins as you register at reception before heading down to see pit lane where you’ll be fitted with a race suit and helmet. After you’re completely kitted up in the race gear, you’ll have your photo taken with one of the V8’s prior to your drive. At this point you can also choose a Holden or Ford – a very easy choice for most motoring enthusiasts! When it’s your turn we’ll strap you in next to a professional (experienced) V8 race car driver. You’ll be treated to 5 Hot laps around the circuit and we guarantee the thrill of the race will certainly be in your veins! After completing your 5 laps, you can collect your laminated photo certificate to prove that you really were in a V8 race car

A DVD of your experience is available for an additional $45, payable directly to the supplier.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Willowbank, Queensland - approximately 45 minutes west of Brisbane.

Session Length

Please allow at least 2 hours for the entire experience. Race days are held throughout the year on both weekdays and weekends on set race dates throughout the year.

Guidelines:

The maximum height and weight is 195cm and 120kg. Participant should be in good physical condition with no heart problems or breathing difficulties. If you are unsure about your suitability – please contact us.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person.

Spectators:

Spectator entry is FREE and drivers are encouraged to bring along as many family and friends as they wish. Depending on numbers some spectators are allowed to participate in the briefing.

Weather:

The drive may be interrupted or cancelled due to inclement weather as driving at high speed on a wet track can be dangerous. Please contact the supplier to confirm the status of the day. In the case of your drive being cancelled due to weather, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to participating in the experience. Your experience includes 5 laps around the circuit.

    My bucket list is now growing. I didn't have one until the V8 drive just before the Hot Laps. I should have done the hot laps first to really get to know what the car could do, however, I was not was disappointed with the experieince.

    Had a fantastic time doing my V8 hot laps and would recommend it to anyone.. Would do it again! Well worth the money!!!

    My son Damien who is a young man with special needs had a wonderful time at the speedway. He cannot physically talk but communicates by a board. He was so excited getting into the car, it was great to see him so happy. All the staff at the speedway were very helpful, so kind, very well organised, we are very pleased with the whole team out there.

    Fantastic day :) All staff were professional and enthusiastic which enabled me to really enjoy it. My driver was brilliant and I learned a lot. Well done!
