Rated 4 out of 5 by We loved it! It was a great way to spend the day and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The only criticism I might offer is that it was advertised as a full day event and we were told it would take us four hours when in fact we finished it in two and a half hours at a very leisurly pace. Still, we really loved what we did and the people who organised it were really very friendly and helpful. The lunch provided was also wonderful. 15 April 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A great day This was such a fun experience. The staff service was relaxed but very good. A delicious lunch was provided. I would recommend this anyday, it was incredible value for money. The provider also gave a run down of different experience options, it seems this experience can be tailored easily for different people or groups. 11 April 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not quite what I was expecting My husband and I were booked to take part on a whole day canoeing trip (10am to 4:30pm roughly). When booking a date we spoke to the company running this adventure who was friendly, and gave helpful advice on getting to the venue. We arranged to meet at 10am. We arrived just before 10am, and as planned so did the person running our adventure. Other people had booked for the same day and they were escorted to the river while we were asked to wait 10min. This was fine, until 10min turned into 1 hour. We didn't want to make a big deal about it and didn't say anything. We were then escorted to the river, given our lunch in an esky and given instructions; paddle until hungry, stop for lunch, then paddle until you reach the bridge back where you've parked your car. We had a nice time paddling, and after roughly 1.5 hours stopped to have lunch. Once finished we got back in the canoe and reached the bridge in another 10min. I was shocked that we had finished the 'whole day' adventure in 2hours plus 1 hour of waiting time. Equipment was in good condition and staff were nice, however we were left disappointed. 16 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by fantastic day on the river We had a great time, very relaxing, beautiful location, great lunch! Rob was very kind in allowing us to change our booking (several times) - very flexible. We saw a lot of interesting birds and animals and the canoe was easy to paddle and very safe. We would recommend it to anyone as a top experience! 24 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent day's canoeing, the river all to ourselves We had a fantastic day, 5.5 hours canoeing along the river. The bird life was amazing. We saw no other people until the end, making it really personal. The weather was also perfect. The only thing extra we would have loved was a hot cuppa, but that's a small thing for future. Highly recommend this adventure 5 December 2012
