Activites in Perth don't get better than sunset sailing on a world-class luxury catamaran! You and your partner can watch the day turn into night and the stars begin to shine. Enjoy a magnificent WA sunset – the perfect romantic twilight setting for two!

Your sunset adventure for you and your partner will start and finish at world famous Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.

Your vessel is a luxury appointed Seawind 1200 sailing catamaran noted for its stable ride.

Experience our magnificent west coast sunset from the ocean on the wide foredeck or rear cockpit deck and watch Fremantle, the Port and Harbour come alive with a kaleidoscope of colour as we transfer from sunset to evening. We may even be joined by a pod of dolphins which love to play around the front of the boat as we sail into the sunset.

Soft drinks, tea, coffee and nibbles are provided during your cruise - BYO alcohol.

Session Length

The cruise is 2 hours in duration and available from November to April, Tuesday - Sunday. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure time. To avoid disappointment, please be advised that we are typically booked out for Sunset Sails on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays one month in advance.

We suggest you only purchase a voucher for one of the dates listed above if you plan to redeem your voucher and book the date today.

Guidelines:

Sailing is an adult environment, but children are welcome as part of a family group, with a minimum age of 12 years (no babies in arms). You are welcome to take part in the sailing, raising, lowering and trimming sails and taking the helm!

Numbers:

This experience is for two people. There will be other guests on the boat with you. We operate with a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 12. If minimum numbers are not met for the date you request, we will need to reschedule your experience.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

Remember, sailing is wind and weather dependent, so the choice of direction and destinations will need to be evaluated nearer the day. We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule if conditions require it.

Other Info:

You may get wet from sea spray, so bring something warm to change into. Please note: We will allow one reschedule once a booking date has been confirmed if you are unable to attend. However, if you do not attend the second booking date, your voucher will be void.

    My partner and I had a wonderful time. It was so nice just to chill and take in the scenery for a couple of hours. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. Would recommend this to anyone. Will definitely do it again!

    It was a great evening - the weather was wonderful, the water was calm, the staff on board very helpful and the other people on the trip were friendly. I would never of thought of this adventure if it hadn't been offered to me as part of the RedBalloon experience and I will recommend it at every opportunity.

    It was a very enjoyable evening for my wife and I. I thought it was good how the boat only had couples on it, so it was nice, not having a big group onboard who knew each other. We were all in the same situation. Jazz and the skipper were brilliant, very helpful, accommodating and informative. It was an added bonus having fantastic weather and some playful dolphins putting on a show for us.

    Our experience was sensational! The staff onboard the Catamaran weren't just friendly and hospitable, they were helpful, genuine and an absolute delight to be around. We had great weather and a beautiful sunset, but the staff helped make the experience memorable and fun! I would give this a 10 out of 10! And recommend to any friends or family visiting Perth.

    We had a fabulous evening. The weather was perfect, although there were five other couples there was plenty of room for you to be on your own as a couple. The crew were very hospitable and professional. It was daylight when we left, then we enjoyed the amazing sunset and by the time we returned we were greeted by the lights of the restaurants, so we were treated to it all. Thanks for a memorable experience.

    It is the most relaxing experience I've ever had, we didn't drink but we noted how well the staff checked on those that did. We were offered soft drinks and water as the evening progressed. The staff also left us all to enjoy the whole journey. Have aleady recommended the experience to old and new couples.

    Beautiful evening sail under gentle breeze, with friendly crew, drinks and snacks, full moon, good company, a dolphin and flying fish kept us company, and then saw the Queen Mary II depart from harbour. Who could want for more? Followed it up with dinner at Little Creatures in Freo.

    We had a beautiful night provided by 'Mother Nature' full moon, setting sun, just fantastic. Then to top that off we were privileged to watch as Queen Mary 2 left port, quite a sight!!! Jazz and Michael were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful experience off our beautiful WA coast, thanks for the opportunity to sail on such a lovely vessel.

    Well we were provided to a beautiful night by 'Mother Nature" a full moon, setting sun. Then to top that off we were privileged to see the Queen Mary 2 leave port, quite a sight!!! Jazz and Michael were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. It was a lovely night, one to remember off our beautiful WA coast.

    The hostess/crew, Jos was brilliant. She is worth her weight in gold to that business. Skipper , Mike and Deckhand, Tom were also very pleasant. All on board had a wonderful sail. We were also lucky with the temperature - conditions in general were perfect. We were very lucky.
