Wine cruises to the Swan Valley take you to some of the best local vineyards, from Sandalford Estate and Waters Edge Winery where you’ll enjoy premium wine tastings and even a stop for lunch at a riverside restaurant. These winery cruises are the perfect choice for an experience to remember!

Join us on board one of Perth's most enjoyable wine cruises! Your Captain and crew will ensure you are well looked after as you sail upstream into the upper reaches of the picturesque Swan Valley and enjoy interesting commentary along the way!

Enjoy morning tea soon after you board, followed by cheese and biscuits and a premium tasting of both Houghton wines and premium 'Wines of the Month' from local vineyards.

Afterwards, you’ll disembark the boat at the prestigious Sandalford Estate to sample some of their wines and there is also the opportunity to purchase any of your favourites. Afterwards, you’ll board the boat again before sampling more premium wines from the Swan Valley as you cruise back downstream.

On arrival at Waters Edge Winery, enjoy a delicious three-course lunch at the riverside restaurant overlooking the Swan River. Your meal is accompanied by music from a pianist and some surprise entertainment follows! Following lunch, there is an opportunity to further sample some more wines at the underground cellar at Waters Edge, the oldest winery in Western Australia.

Your winery cruise includes:
* Morning tea,
* On board wine tastings,
* A visit to Sandalfords and Waters Edge wineries to sample their wines, and
* A delicious 3-course lunch (with a choice from 3 mains) and sampling of premium wines at Waters Edge Winery.

At the completion of your winery cruise, you’ll be returned to Perth at approximately 4.45pm after having sampled some amazing wines and maybe even taking home a case or two of your favourites!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

The cruise departs daily at 9.45am and returns at approximately 4.45pm, all year round. Summer weekend dates are particularly busy and should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. All bookings are subject to availability. This cruise operates daily.

Guidelines:

You must be over 18 years of age to participate in this experience. Children are welcome if they are accompanied by a paying adult – children must be supervised at all times. You must be able to climb up and down stairs to access the boat.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. We operate with between 70 and 120 people on the cruise. Winter cruises operate with a minimum of 20 people per cruise. If the cruise doesn’t run due to a lack of numbers, your experience will be rescheduled for a later date.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience is generally not affected by the weather. At certain times of the year (usually winter), if the Swan River rises, you may have to be transported to the wineries and riverside restaurant by coach as the boat is unable to clear the bridges along the river.

Other Info:

If you plan to drink, we recommend that you arrange public transport for the return journey from Perth to your accommodation or home.

It was a fantastic experience to be so close to the city but feel miles from anywhere. The commentary was excellent and the entertainment from our singing stewardess was world class. 5 April 2013

The young crew were a 10/10..The meal was disappointing Everything about the crew was most enjoyable and we made sure we had a great time making friends, chatting singing and enjoying the boat trip. The meal was a let down and most of us on the table were disappointed. The tarts tasted as if they were frozen and thawed out. The fish needed seasoning at least salt and a seperate sauce. The chicken was overcooked and no salt. The pasta eaters said it was good. The brandyy basket/ shop bought?? 2 scoops of commercial icecream. not nice together at all. I have eaten here before and the food was nice. Obviously large boat loads get the :food for the masses". We were hungry still on the way back and we are average eaters .coffee on the baot was good. Biscuits on the boat trip back would have been nice. Thank you overall a beaurtiful day indeed 5 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A perfect way to spend a day with someone you love. From the moment we were greeted we knew the cruise would be amazing.We started with muffins and coffee and progressed to biscuits and cheese with an assortment of wines from the region. Enjoyable wine tasting at a winery and a superb lunch at a well known restaurant. This was then followed by an enjoyable return cruise with still more wine and the added bonus of singing entertainment from the crew members. This had the passengers joining in and dancing in the aisles. This for us was a very enjoyable experience in which we have already got another group of girls organised for a repeat performance. We have recommended this cruise to many of our friends, Thankyou very much Tony and Karen. 11 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A very enjoyable day out. We very much enjoyed seeing the Swan River from a different perspective and learning of parks and walking trails beside the river we didn't know existed. The wine tasting and accompanying snacks were very generous. The three course meal was quite good apart from the cold tart! The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and fun. 4 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Day Had an absolute blast from start to finish. The skipper and crew were a hoot ,commentary awesome, wine and food aplenty. Highly recommend. The one thing to be improved is to stateon the voucher where to hand in your voucher to get your cruise tickets. Once this little obstacle was overcome the rest of the day was a breeze ;) 21 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by An excellent day out. The arrangements for our tour were straightforward and given in our downloaded information. The staff were pleasant and efficient all day. They all seem to be multi-skilled, as one of the crew sang for us during the return home. All the crew seemed to know what was happening with the docking of the boat as well as their hospitality duties. 16 December 2012
