Rated 3 out of 5 by Libby456 Pleasant evening.
Nice views of CBD from boat. Boarded and departed on time. Staff friendly and polite. The food was very average.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RGCO The buffet was the let down
We have been on the Kookaburras before, as recent as October last year. all previous trips were fine.
This experience was a let down.
The staff and cruise and Brisbane at night were all A1.
The buffet was the poorest we have ever experienced.. The hot dishes were not signed. There was too much heat on a couple of trays that resulted in dried out sauce on the bottom.
There was good fruit selection but only two dishes of salad product.
The seafood looked ok but we are not seafood eaters.
The sweets were a complete non event.
3 different slices, no cream or ice cream, or custard.
A quite disappointing dinner tarnished a good evening.

I booked this for our wedding anniversary and it was a hit. Food was excellent for a buffet dining experience. The boat and secenary was magnificent, this is a must do if your in Brisbane

We were very happy to have a great seat out on the deck, and the staff, even though they seem extremely unorganised, were friendly. However for the cost of the experience, the food was less than ordinary, cold roast meat that was tough and dry. cold vegies, the choice of ceaser salad or fancy lettuce leaves (which I consider a garnish) and for someone who doesnt eat curry or seafood thats where the options ended. The menu was not very abundant and the dessert, well, what dessert? Cheese without crackers, then once the crackers came there was no cheese left. Bite sized cakes with no flavour and a pavlova that was the highlight of the menu! Everything except water, tea and coffe was an extra charge so by the time you have a couple of drink each your better off going to a nice restaurant with a view because at least then you can leave once you are finished!
