Visit the World Heritage listed Springbrook National Park where your expert environmental guide will take you on an evening bushwalk through the rainforest. See the glow worms and finish the evening with light refreshments and star gazing (weather permitting).

On the evening of your glow worm tour, you’ll be collected by coach from your accommodation in the Gold Coast region. Marvel at the wonders of the southern sky by night, as your expert guide points out stars, planets and constellations unique to Australia.

Then you will head to the unique and wondrous World Heritage listed national parks of South-East Queensland. Much of the region has been added to the World Heritage list for its universal significance.

Upon arrival at the Springbrook National Park, your expert environmental guide will take you on an evening bushwalk through sub-tropical rainforest. Here you’ll learn about plant and animal species unique to the area. Best of all, you’ll also have an opportunity to see the glow worms that inhabit the area. These tiny creatures make their home around a cascading waterfall in the Natural Bridge Cave. Afterwards, we’ll finish the evening with light refreshments and a spot of stargazing before heading back to your accommodation on the Gold Coast.

Session Length

This experience operates daily. Tour departs at approximately 7pm and you can expect to return to the Gold Coast at around 10:30pm.

Guidelines:

This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to view the glow worms in there natural habitat. However, it is 1000 meters to the glow worm cave and return. This tour is suitable for children aged 4 - 11 years of age (infants are welcome free of charge but do not receive a meal or seat on the coach).

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one child aged 4 – 11 years. We operate with a maximum group size of 10 people per tour guide. Adult prices are also available; please refer to product code ART141.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

We operate in all weather conditions. In fact, when it has been raining, the glow worms actually glow brighter.
