Main Description

This exciting adventure will have you flying through the forest on a series of cable spans from cloud station to cloud station and enjoying some features on this Zip Line Tour that are not available on any other Zip Line Tour in the world.

Visitors will see the trees and forest ecology in a new light and learn about our growing and vibrant forests and when you come back to ground, you’ll get to walk on and enjoy our Treetop Walk. Perfect for individuals, families and groups.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Otways Rainforest, Victoria. Off the Great Ocean Road. 50 mins from Apollo Bay

Session Length

Total experience will run for 3.5 hours, this includes a 2.5 hours zip line tour and 1 hour treetop walk.

Guidelines:

Min 4 years and 105cm tall, max weight is 120kgs. Most people can participate this experience, If you have restricted mobility or a medical condition about which you are concerned please give us a call to discuss your requirements prior to the tour and we will be happy to help.

Numbers:

Up to 10 people are on each tour.

Weather:

Tour will run in most weather conditions, in extreme weather such as lighting tours will be rescheduled.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ajohnston Fun experience. I had a really great time at the Otway Fly. Once there the staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism is when we registered on Red Balloon we had to give preferred availability (date & time). I gave my availability accordingly only to be booked at a time outside of those availabilities. The tour we were placed on we could not attend (it was the same date but first thing in the morning and we were travelling 3 hours from Melbourne to get there). When I called to notify the provider they were quite rude and said that they did not have any tours available at the times we requested, so they just put us on a tour that was available. I think it would have been helpful if on the Red Balloon site when you had to provide your availability, it listed the tour departure times. Otherwise this was a good experience. 8 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wally2 Awesome experience Despite the staff at the desk being disorganised and not informing us that our booking was being put back an hour, the actual zip lining was fantastic. I am a little scared of heights but at no time did I feel scared or unsafe during the experience. I would highly recommend this to everyone to have a go. 21 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gezza Fantastic fun for everyone The zip lining was extremely well organised and crew well trained, with the utmost attention to safety. For a person fearful of heights it was a little scary at first, but that soon evaporated as we (1 adult, 13 yo and 11 yo) 'flew' through the tree tops. The guides also provided accurate (I'm a biologist) information about the rainforest environment and history of this area. We had previously (6 years ago) visited the tree top walk, but a revisit was heaps of fun. All together, 3 hours of excellent adventure. 15 December 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blue This was a great experience The Zip line adventrue was great, the staff were re assuring when they were givng us training and alway encouraging when about to leave the cloud. As well as the fly we learnt lots about the rain forest while participating on the Zip. I would highly recommend this as it is adventurous for all ages yet you feel extremely safe hanging 19 m above the ground. The Tree Top walk was amazing you get a completly different perspective from above ground. It would be good if there was a night tour to see the animal life in the rain forest. 18 November 2012
