Learn to surf with this two-day surf tour along the Great Ocean Road, just outside of Melbourne. This surf tour is perfect for beginners and more experienced surfers. In between surf lessons you’ll hang out with your new friends and explore the local area. Experience the thrill and ride the waves!

Your two-day surf tour includes:

Pick-up and drop-off from the World Trade Centre
Surf show bag
Board and wetsuit for two days

One nights accommodation in a privately owned cabin which is shared accommodation for the tours guests only

On the first day of your two-day surf tour we will pick you up from the World Trade Centre. Then we’ll take you and your fellow surf tour participants down the Great Ocean Road for two days of surfing and fun!

On the first day you will have two surfing sessions – one before lunch and one after. The lessons are very thorough and your instructors will take you step-by-step through everything you need to know to get you in the water and surfing!

At the end of the first day you have the option to visit the Surf World Museum where you can learn about the past culture of surfing and get an insight into the history of the sport.

For the night we will be staying in the popular coastal town Torquay. There are a number of things to do for the evening, from watching a DVD in a comfy lounge area to enjoying a beer at the local surf pub. Or you may prefer to take a dip in the heated pool or spa within the resort.

The next morning breakfast will be served nice and early. Then we are off to the beach for day two of your surf tour!

After a full day on the beach we stop off at Torquay’s Surf City Plaza. We then head back to Melbourne and drop you off again.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Pick up and drop off is from the World Trade Centre, Melbourne.

Session Length

Surf tours depart daily all year round (except August) and are subject to availability. Tours do not operate on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. We leave Melbourne at approximately 8am and return at approximately 6pm the next day.

Guidelines:

You must be 10 years of age or older to be eligible for this experience. You must also be of a standard level of fitness and have no medical conditions that may pose a risk while surfing. This surf tour is perfect for beginners and for more experienced surfers.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a maximum of 14 participants on the tour.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date. We will contact you 24 hours prior if your surf tour is to be rescheduled.

Other Info:

Our coaches are fully qualified surf coaches with years of experience and hold surf lifesaving and first aid certificates. Dinner is not included and must be purchased at your own cost. You may purchase a DVD of the surf tour for an extra cost, payable directly to the supplier.
