Have you ever sat on a beach and looked in amazement at the surfers carve up the waves? Here's your chance to learn to surf with Australian and World Pro-am Champion, Merrick Davis and his team of world-class coaches. Learn all aspects of safety and board skills in a safe, supportive environment!
On the day of your surfing experience, we will collect you from your accommodation house or from our specified meeting point in our famous troop carrier adorned with red hibiscus flowers. You will be transported to our exclusive beach access point, where you will off load the ‘troopy’ and be given your rash vest and surfboard in preparation for your 2 hour lesson.
With a short stroll through the bush track, you will step onto Noosa Main Beach where your coach will sit you down and begin to explain about surf safety and ocean awareness.
You will be then shown how to paddle your board on the sand. Once you have mastered this, it's into the water for real time paddling.
Back to the beach again where you will be shown our easy 1-2-3 method of standing on your surfboard. It's back to the water for you to start surfing. Enjoy the exhilaration of catching your first wave and riding to the beach having the time of your life. You won't be able to wipe the smile off your face.
After the lesson, you’ll be presented with a certificate and be offered post lesson advice.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
Noosa, Queensland. Just 1.5 hours north of Brisbane or 30 minutes drive north from Maroochydore Airport.
Session Length
This surfing experience is available between 9.30am and 2pm every day, except Christmas Day. Lessons are 2 hours in duration. We recommend that you book at least 24 hours in advance of your preferred date.
Guidelines:
This experience is suitable for everyone from age 7 and older. Children must be able to swim at least 25 metres. You must be over 18 years of age to sign the waiver. Parents / guardians will be required to sign a waiver on their children's behalf.
Numbers:
We operate with 1 coach for every 5 surfers.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome to watch you on the beach.
Weather:
You surfing lessons may be cancelled due to beach closures, rough conditions or stormy weather. In the rare case that your experience is cancelled, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.
Other Info:
All of our coaching staff are fully qualified and accredited and hold blue cards. You will be required to sign a waiver on the day. Children between 7 - 18 years will need to have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.

The surfing lesson and teacher were great - if they can get me standing on a board after an hour they must be a good teacher. I can't imagine there is a more perfect beach to learn on than Noosa either - beautiful surroundings and the surf was great. I'd highly recommend it.
