Spend a day at the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa hidden in the depths of the Daintree Rainforest World Heritage region. The nature, nurture and culture package includes the finest ingredients for a great day out. A walk, lunch with a native twist and a 60 minute spa treatment of your choice.

This is a day you’ll look forward to for a long time and remember long after. It’s a beautiful introduction to the wonders of the Daintree Rainforest, the world’s oldest living rainforest. Your day will start with an interpretive rainforest walk with an indigenous guide, who will explain more about the species that exist in this tropical habitat.

Following the walk, treat yourself to lunch with a native twist prepared in the Julaymba Restaurant & Gallery by internationally acclaimed chefs. Then select your 60 minute say spa treatment from the options below:

Walu BalBal (Wa-lu Bal-Bal) - Shine Face - 60 Minutes

A unique spa facial that will transport your senses to a time where sacred rainforests harboured ancient wisdom and therapeutic botanicals.

Wuri Julma (Oo-ri Jul-ma) - Corroboree Dance Massage – 60 Minutes

Embrace the mystery of ancient Aboriginal therapies. An elder of a tribe - a wise man and a healer, whispered secrets of a rhythmic massage. A relaxing massage infused with these sacred principles, to realign energy flow.

Jina Treatment (Jinna) - Foot - 60 Minutes

The invigorating desert salts and nourishing foot masque will soften and soothe the skin whilst restoring harmony to your entire body and soul. Traditional pressure point massage ensures you will tread lightly and happily upon the earth.

Julma (Jul-ma) - To Massage - 60 Minutes

Revitalize with a massage tailored to your specific needs. Our qualified therapists use a combination of Eastern and Western techniques.

Daintree region - 90 minutes drive north of Cairns.

Session Length

This is a full day experience, available 7 days per week. Arrival time is between 10 - 10.30am and departure is at approximately 4.30pm (depending on treatment chosen).

Guidelines:

You will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to your spa treatment.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. Others will take part in the rainforest walk and lunch. You will be one-on-one with your spa therapist.

Weather:

Average temperatures range from 20 - 30 Degrees Celsius with 60% of the rainfall between October to May and 40% from June to September. The rainforest and region are spectacular no matter what time of the year you choose to travel.

The Greater Daintree Rainforest has existed continuously for more than 110 million years. Most importantly, it represents the largest surviving tract of tropical lowland rainforest on the Australian continent, a remnant of Gondwana land.
