Exclusive to RedBalloon this WRX rally and V8 combo gives you the chance to experience a driving experience different to any other. You will drive WRX Rally Car for 10 laps around our rally track, then jump into our V8 Buggy for a real off road hot lap experience you'll never forget.

Main Description

Your day will start when you arrive at our Colo Park Rally Race track, we will run you through a race briefing and make sure that you are familiar with both the cars and the experience that is ahead of you. When you’re ready you'll meet your race instructor and then get strapped into a race prepared Subaru WRX rally car, then your off. 10 laps will give you are real chance to get familiar with the track and car, your race instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience ensuring that you will be driving faster and faster each lap, the aim is to make your last lap the fastest.

After your rally experience it’s time for the real thrill, you will be strapped into a full on V8 race buggy, these machines are capable of amazing speeds and real air time. A professional Race Driver will take you for the Hot Lap of your life, the Colo race track is the perfect venue to showcase the awesome capabilities of these trucks. You will need to hold on, this is a hot lap that will scare even the most hardened race fans.

The whole experience is created and run by Australia’s leading off road race champion, Chris Western. The chances are he will be taking you on your hot laps, how good is that!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Colo Park, Sydney.

Session Length

You need to allow 4 hours at the track depending on the final numbers in your group. There are both morning and afternoon sessions available. Morning session 8.30am – 12.30pm Afternoon session 12.30pm – 4.30pm

Guidelines:

Minimum age is 12 years. Self-drivers need to be a minimum age is 12yrs, no licence required. All passengers and drivers are required to sign a waiver of liability form. Max weight is 150kg and height is 203cm

Numbers:

You may have up to 6 drivers in your group, however when you are driving you will be one on one with your race car instructor.

Spectators:

Spectators are more then welcome, Our toilets and air conditioned facilities are available for them to use also. There are even activities for the kids!

Weather:

We run year round through rain and shine. Only in extreme rain will we cancel and reschedule your booking for another time.

Other Info:

This is the only package where you can do 2 different experiences on dirt at the same place and time

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic! It was so much fun. Spectators don't see what really goes on, they see a more controlled, slower version of the circuit (still going at about 60kph). The instructors do really try get the full potential from you and told to "open it up" reaching speeds of/up to/over 140kph on dirt, with THREE vehicles going at the same time :O You're given a brief before hand and many opportunities to take pictures. Spectators get the opportunity to go for a hot lap on the day for a small fee. All staff were lovely and very friendly. Definitely worth it :) 18 November 2012
