Always wanted to learn to surf? This is the perfect opportunity! Highly experienced coaches will get you standing on a board and experiencing the thrill of surfing in an idyllic environment. Make learning to surf fun, safe and easy for beginners of all ages and fitness levels!

The daily lessons are held morning and afternoon at one of the Gold Coasts most uncrowded beaches just a few short kilometres north of Surfers Paradise at The Spit. This is one of the last undeveloped areas on the Gold Coast and it is a true locals spot.

Protected by the Seaway wall, the spit provides perfect conditions for beginners and intermediates. We hold 2 hour group lessons, with no more than 6 students per coach, daily at 10am and 1pm with all equipment supplied. We also provide complimentary transport to and from the beach for your guests.

Venue:

This experience is located under 10 minutes drive from the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Session Length

The lessons is approx 2 hours. We have a 30 minute safety induction on the sand before we hit the waves. We operate 7 days a week, at 10am and 1pm daily and during peak times we run extra classes.

Guidelines:

Please advise of any health conditions with our staff at the time of booking and we will advise if it will effect your lesson. Minimum age is 6, however exceptions can be made depending on the water conditions and the child's individual ability.

Numbers:

Group lessons consist of 6 instructors with a maximum of 18 per class.

Spectators:

Our experience is great for spectators, they can watch from the beach or stroll out on to the Seaway wall and watch the class surfing by.

Weather:

This experience can be affected by the weather. If weather is consistently unsuitable we would recommend the participant upgrades to a wave pool lesson with us at White Water World.
