Experience the thrill of landing some of the finest eating and fighting fish during your full day fishing adventure. You will board the most technologically advanced vessel in Far North QLD, ensuring you spend more time fishing by taking you quickly and comfortably to the best fishing playgrounds!

Your exciting fishing adventure will sure to be one of comfort and luxury.

Walk on board and be greeted by our friendly crew, you can then relax in the air-conditioned saloon, take in a picture slideshow of the previous day's catch on the widescreen TV, and enjoy the scenery from the upstairs sun lounges.

A safety brief and talk about the day’s activities takes place whilst cruising out of the beautiful harbour, before settling in for the journey to the reef.

Utilising both traditional methods and the latest in 3D navigation, sounder and bottom imaging equipment the best fishing grounds are found daily. Giving you the best possible opportunity to catch a fish!

Anchor down, engines off, a demonstration and the day's activities commence. Using handlines or custom-made rods with overhead Penn reels species such as Coral Trout and Mackerel are targeted. Float lines are also used whenever possible to target the elusive Giant Trevally, Tuna and Wahoo.

You don't need to be an experienced angler, we cater for the beginner to the advanced, and with three crew members on board you are assured of personal attention.

All this fishing can make you hungry, so we provide you with morning and afternoon tea, and a smorgasbord lunch. Drinks, snacks and souvenirs are also available for purchase throughout the day from the fully licensed bar.

Afternoon tea is served on the return journey and photos of you, and your catch will be displayed on the widescreen TV for all to see. You can even have your photos burnt to disc (additional cost - $15 per image) to take home with you so you can prove that you really did catch the big one!

Upon return to Port Douglas, your catch is prepared for you to take back to your accommodation, or for those who don't like to cook - a local restaurant! Airline approved freezer boxes are also available for purchase for those wishing to take their catch home with them.

Venue:

Port Douglas - a 60 minute drive north of Cairns in Far North Queensland.

Session Length

Full Day tours board at 8am, depart at 8.30am, and return at 4.30pm. This experience operates every day of the year (excluding Christmas Day), subject to suitable numbers and weather conditions. Bookings are essential, ideally several days in advance to ensure availability.

Guidelines:

There are no restrictions to participate in this experience, however if you are susceptible to motion sickness then it is highly recommended that you consult a pharmacist prior to travelling. Also please advise us prior to the experience of any other medical conditions you may suffer.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We can comfortably accommodate up to 25 people on our daily tour. It is the largest fishing charter vessel in Far North Queensland which ensures your comfort, especially in those choppy conditions.

Spectators:

Spectators will be charged at the child's price. This is payable directly to the supplier.

Weather:

This trip may be cancelled in the event of strong winds and swell. In this case, the supplier will reschedule your experience (refunds will not be given). Make sure the mobile number provided is contactable the night prior to departure as the supplier will contact you if the trip has been cancelled.

Due to government legislation the charter boat is non smoking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ynot It was a good experience because I caught a great fish The deckhand had a rod and I had handline, so because of this and the expense of the trip, as the customer I thought that I should also have had rods because that was what seemed to be catching fish and this was ultimately the reason why I was there, to catch fish! Fortunately near the end of my experience though I landed a beauty...I praise the skipper for having the ability to know when to pull up anchor and search for fish elsewhere 4 December 2012

The voucher clearly states that the all Levys are included however we (there were 4 or 5 other Red ballon vouchers on heh day) had to pay an additional $15 fuel levy? 3 December 2012
