Sales targets met = 35 staff all racing V8s

Situation

From humble beginnings, the Laundy Group has gone from strength to strength and now owns more than 30 hotels, encompassing function areas, dining venues and accommodation facilities across NSW.

Laundy Hotels wanted to run a staff event for 35 people as an incentive based promotion. Justine Laundy from Laundy Hotels was very impressed with RedBalloon's level of customer service and quick response to their event request, especially after coming to RedBalloon at the last minute.

Objectives

Justine wanted to organise "...an incentive based promotion, in conjunction with a major supplier aimed at boosting the sales across our hotel group."

Action

Justine chose the V8 Race Car Drive Day experience, and the participants were treated to a fast-paced day of action where they had the opportunity to learn to drive a V8 on in a genuine race track environment.

Outcome

"We have done numerous staff days involving a number of different activities. The car racing was the best we have done yet. People are still talking about it and will be for months! It suited us because it had a level of competition, whilst not being too serious. RedBalloon were extremely well organised, easy to deal with and very efficient," said Justine.
