Try your hand at surfing the waves on the beautiful southern end of the Gold Coast renowned as the ideal learn to surf location on the Gold Coast. Under expert tuition you will be given step-by-step guidance and encouragement to enjoy riding your first wave and then many more!!
Renowned for safe and reliable conditions, it's the perfect spot for beginners.
Your professional and fully qualified Surfing Australia Surf Instructor will talk through the surfing lesson, encourage you to ask questions and constantly remind you what it's all about, having fun.
Your lesson will last generally for 2 hours and in this time it is expected that even beginners will come away with the memory of that first wave on your own and this will last forever!
At the beginning of the lesson, your Surf Instructor will explain and demonstrate the various movements and techniques you need in surfing so you begin to get a good understanding of what you should be doing.
Before you go into the water, you will have a good opportunity to practice all the techniques and movements on the beach so when we do get into the water, you should have a really good understanding of what you need to do. Once we hit the water, the real fun begins!!

Venue:
Southern end of the Gold Coast , Queensland.
Session Length
A 2 hour group lesson. Lessons take place all year round 7 days a week except Christmas Day. Book early to unsure you are placed into the correct session to suit the most favourable conditions and ability. Please note, if you are the only 2 surfers in the group lesson, it may be a little shorter.
Guidelines:
Surfing requires a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability. The coach will be in the water with you however a certain understanding of broken water management is handy. Our operator is licensed with Surfing Queensland, ensuring a high level of competency. The minimum age is 4 years old.
Numbers:
This package is for 2 people however there may be others in the group where there will be a maximum of 8 per instructor in the group.
Spectators:
There no limit here, the beach is the grandstand – bring along your friends with cameras to capture the moment! There is free use of pro body boards for other family members if they want to have a 'splash' while you are up and riding!
Weather:
Conditions for surfing can vary on a day-to-day basis. On rare occasions the conditions may be unsuitable or unsafe, if so notice will be given and an alternative date will be scheduled.
Other Info:
Participants will have a fun and rewarding session. Most get up and ride a wave on their first lesson however remember there is a fair bit of physical involvement. Soft, learner surfboards are used for the lesson, which is helpful when learning.
Cancellation Policy:
All Cancellations within 24 hours or No Shows will incur a $50 Reschedule Fee Payable directly to the Provider
