Get back to nature and ride through the Yarra Valley’s pristine bush and mountains on this guided horse trail adventure. Keep your eyes peeled for wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and more on this two-and-a-half-hour ride which includes a wine tasting at Tokar Estate Yarra Valley Wines. As you mount your horse, you'll be taken on a ride under the trees and up near a mountain hut, where you'll experience breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley and the Great Dividing Range. At a scenic Yarra Valley Mountain spot, you'll be treated to a wine tasting of Tokar Estate Yarra Valley wines, giving you a chance to take in the magnificent scenery while enjoying a selection of the best vino of the region.
Throughout your ride, keep an eye out for Australian wildlife, such as eagles, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, lizards, echidnas, and deer. With experienced horse trail guides on hand to ensure your safety and enjoyment throughout the ride, and with water and fruit drinks available for non-drinkers and those choosing not to partake in the wine-tasting, this limited Horse Trail Ride is suitable for everyone no matter your level of riding experience.
The price quoted is for one. This isn't a private tour. The typical size group is no more than 10 participants in each group. Only small groups are taken on horse trail rides, and as such, we may knock back customers for many rides due to availability.
Long pants and closed toe shoes (e.g. runners or boots) are required. Strictly no shorts, sandals or gumboots. Please bring sunscreen. Rain coats when riding in the rain are provided.
