If you've ever wanted to try piloting an aircraft or take your first step towards learning to fly, this 30-minute flight experience is the ideal opportunity for you. Take off from Traralgon and take in the sites of the Latrobe Valley and greater Gippsland from way up high during this guided lesson.

What's Included?

• Pre-flight briefing and lesson with a qualified flight instructor

Take to the skies for a lesson on piloting a small modern Light Sport Aircraft during this Latrobe Valley Aero Club learn-to-fly experience. Beginning with a short explanation from your qualified flight Instructor, covering how to control the aircraft and what to expect in the cockpit, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about flying, to ensure you're fully prepared for your flight. When the aircraft is ready to go, strap in, start up and take off on this exhilarating adventure. Once airborne, under the guidance of your instructor, you can start flying the aircraft, this is your first step towards potentially qualifying for a pilot's licence. Your route is adjustable, meaning you get to fly anywhere within the local area and enjoy the view while you're up there.

There will be ample opportunity to take photos from high in the sky and you can even bring along friends and family who can take photos from the ground, spectate and relax at the Aero Club overlooking the airfield and the Great Dividing Range.

Session Length

• The duration of your flight experience is 30-minutes
• The 30-minute flight time begins at start of engine and finishes when engine stops
• Please allow two hours for the entire adventure.
• Flight times are between 8 am and 5 pm
• Weekends are generally booked well in advance
