Experience the thrills of the Murray River on a self-guided Fast Water Rafting tour. Paddle through fast-moving channels and along wide pools at your own pace. Choose to ride the rapids multiple times whilst your friends cheer you on!
Add a dose of adrenaline to your day with a self-guided fast water rafting experience for two on the Murray River in Dwellingup. Grab your paddling partner and head to Dwellingup Adventures for your orientation and safety briefing. Once you've collected your raft and completed the safety briefing, it's time to hit the water for an exciting ride. Paddle at your own pace as you have fun winding down small rapids and fast-moving channels to the finish line at Dwaarlindjirraap where you'll rendezvous with your vehicle after an exciting day out on the water.
The duration of this experience is 4.5 hours. Tours operates on demand from 10.30am to 3pm.
Recommended 6 years and over. This experience is seasonal, operating in winter months, during higher water levels.
Minimum 1 person. Maximum 20 persons.
Spectators will be able to watch at various points along the river. Amenities include toilets, picnic tables and bbqs.
This tour is run in the winter months. The tour is not cancelled due to rain. If weather is very severe the operator may cancel if it is deemed unsafe.
Participants should be prepared to get wet. Wetsuits are a good idea. Dwellingup Adventures hire Thermal Wear packs if needed. Avoid long pants, bare legs dry out quicker. Avoid denim and tracksuits which are heavy when wet. Warm upper body layers with a rain coat is recommended. Enclosed footwear that cannot slip off is mandatory. Sneakers are ideal.
