Get up close to the amazing Giants of the Sea in South West WA as they commence their northern migration - heading to warmer waters North to mate and calve. Humpback Whales and Southern Right whales can be spotted, and on rare occasion, Blue Whales.
Witness the awe inspiring whales in Augusta as they use the bay as a resting area after travelling from the Arctic. Board the purpose build whale watching vessel, with only a limited number of guests aboard, ensuring no interrupted views of the magnificent creatures. Head to the upper deck for a tour or stay on the lower deck, closer to the action. With a marine biologist on board as well as live commentary from the captain, you will be bale to learn all about these incredible giants of the sea. Beginning their migration North to calve and mate, be sure to keep an eye out for competition pods - a group of male humpbacks chasing a female. Every season, the beautiful endangered Southern Right Whales use the bay as well to calve and build their calves up before continuing migration. On a rare occasion, you may even see the majestic Blue Whale. This is the perfect way to get up close with these breathtaking animals and is sure to be an experience you and your family will never forget.
There is a minimum number requirement to run - with a large vessel, but small numbers of 47. If minimum numbers are not reached you will be contacted to reschedule. It is recommended to book the tour at the start of your stay in the area to allow flexibility to reschedule should there be a need to cancel due to marine weather. (The provider rarely needs to reschedule due to minimum numbers not being reached).
The charter might be delayed commencements time due to marine weather conditions - and in this instance (usually only by an hour) your booking and cancellation policy stands. If All Sea Charters deem unsafe to operate, you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to reschedule. The operator will check the Marine Weather every evening at 4pm so sometimes there will be a late-minute reschedule - and the marine weather can change daily.
Bring a Jacket/Dress warm - even if it is warm the weather on the ocean can be colder. Appropriate footwear.
