Explore 3000 acres of lush green valleys and ancient rainforest trails at Australia’s largest horse riding centre. We will provide you with an unforgettable 2 hour horse riding experience, riding through unspoilt Australian bush and cantering across lush green valleys.

Enjoy horse riding less than one hour from Sydney or Newcastle. Ride through unspoilt Australian bush and canter across lush green valleys. Discover the shady canopy of the rainforest trail, meander along the banks of Popran Creek, the purest tributary to the Hawkesbury River and then arrive at the natural rock pools.

Keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife on your ride, including wallabies, lyrebirds, cockatoos, king parrots and bellbirds. Altogether there are 50kms of unspoilt wilderness trails to explore.

Take a relaxing 2 hour guided ride with one of our friendly guides to assist you. If you are an experienced rider and you wish to break away from the group, you may be able to do this with the permission of your guide. There are 200 quality horses to choose from with challenging horses for expert riders through to gentle horses for nervous beginners.

Our experienced staff will match one of our quality horses to your level of experience. All riders are given full instruction.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Located at Peats Ridge – 1 hour from the Harbour Bridge, 20 minutes from Hornsby or just 15 minutes from Gosford.

Session Length

This experience is 2 hours in duration and operates 7 days a week. Rides depart Weekdays at 10am and 2pm. Weekends at 9.30am, 12pm and 2pm. Please book at least 2 days in advance of your preferred date. During peak times (school holidays and public holidays) the rides are very busy, so book early.

Guidelines:

Riders under 18 will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian on the day. No previous experience is necessary. This ride is suitable for children over the age of 7 years. Please Note: There is a weight limitation of 110kg.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be in a group on the day of up to 10 people and accompanied by an experienced guide.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

Rides are conducted in all weather conditions. Groups vary between 1 and 10 people accompanied by an experienced guide.

Other Info:

Riders will be required to sign an application to ride form prior to participating in their ride.

My partner and I had a great time although school holidays is probably not the best time if you are a little impatient, which I am. Having said that once we set off it was a truly great experience. We have done a few rides over the years at different locations and I must admit this was one of the better ones. Nikki my partner agreed wholeheartedly. Would definitely come back but at a quieter time during a working week. 23 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by great experience This was my first time in 35 years on a horse, i was daunted at the prospect but really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were wonderful helping me mount and dismount as my legs had turned to jelly after 2 hrs. They went out of there way to accomodate us, as our booking was due to expire. My husbands last time on a horse was about the same, though he is fitter than me, his legs were like jelly too. 13 December 2012

I didnt take the experience until a month ago because I was a bit unsure if I could do it by myself. I could not have been more wrong, I not only did it, but wanted it to go on and on, didnt want it to end. If I had the money, I would do it every weekend. 1 December 2012
