This is your chance to indulge in the very best of food and wine while spending a relaxing day in the Yarra Valley, just outside of Melbourne. You and your partner will begin your day with a wine tasting, relax with a spectacular three-course lunch and conclude with a bottle of wine to take home.

This experience is the ultimate two-in-one, the perfect combination of wine tasting and a decadent restaurant lunch as you relax in the surroundings of our renowned restaurant and winery.

Upon arrival you will enjoy a wine tasting in the magnificent cellar. Renowned for their wines, they are currently producing magnificent wines from 20-year-old vines.

Enjoy a guided wine tasting in the unique cellar door, were you will taste a selection of Helens Hill Wines. After 15-30 minute wine tasting you will wander up to the restaurant which is located on top of the hill. You will be able to relax and take in stunning view of the Yarra Valley while you enjoy your three-course meal, which is accompanied by a bottle of wine.

The menu is subject to change, although you can expect meals along the lines of

Thai Calamari – Scored curls of calamari, fried and tossed with a lemongrass and sweet chilli sauce, served on a tat soi leaf salad
Seafood Terrine – A warm salmon, Morton Bay bug meat and scallop terrine served with

a German potato salad, herbed cream fraiche, parsley pesto and crisp sour dough croutons

Chocolate Trifle- Chocolate and pomegranate trifle served with praline flecked

crème fraiche and pomegranate sauce

Take your time to relax and fully enjoy your meal. The finer things in life should not be rushed. When you finish your meal you will be totally satisfied after being swept away with the spectacular taste sensation that all good food should provide. However your experience is not over yet. On conclusion of your dining experience you will be presented with a bottle of wine to take home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gollie Fantastic day! We were given this experience as a gift. We were a bit late for the wine tasting but that was no problem for the staff when we arrived. They spent plenty of time with us and answered all our questions about wine etc. The wine tasting was great, there wasn't a wine we didn't like. We moved up to the restaurant for lunch, which was delicious! I had zucchini flowers, veal scallopine, and the pear dessert with nuts and honey. I can't rave enough about how delicious that dessert was, and I don't usually like honey. The veal scallopine was excellent too. I'd highly recommend this experience, especially for couples! 13 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kazie Helen's Hill Winery and Vines restaurant What a lovely way to spend a Sunday lunch. We were made to feel welcome from when we first walked in the cellar door through to leaving the restaurant at the end of lunch. We tasted some delicious wines(and bought some) and look forward to sitting in front of the open fire with wines and nibbles on a wintery day on our next visit. We meandered up the hill (though there is ample parking) to the restaurant. We were seated at a table with fabulous views. Service was prompt and attentive and the meals were delicious- we spent a bit of time discussing which was our favourite without coming to a conclusion-spoilt for choice. Overall a faultless day and one we will do again. 28 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by PSqared Excellent food great service Very Beautiful location panoramic view of Coldsteam Hills whilst being served well presented gourmet food. The choice on the 3 course fixed menu was five star standard and catered to all tastes. The service was attentive and prompt with a country style friendly atmosphere. The only drawback is that I had to drive and as such could not indulge myself in the wonderful choice of wines on offer so taking a bus would have been a better option. Included in the deal were 2 bottles of wine that we were allowed to upgrade at a slight cost and take home. The wines at the cellar were expensive as they are at all wineries compared to First Choice or Dan Murphy's but there was some excellent Chardonnay that was worth the $30.00 per bottle. All in all a great and most enjoyable day. 14 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Garfield An excellent experience The wine tasting was very enjoyable with the only downside being the Shiraz/Syrah was not yer released. Tried many different wines and all were good. The restaurant provided a beautiful meal, we both had a steak which was perfectly cooked and tasty deserts. The staff at the winery and restaurant were friendly, informative and attentive. The location is excellent with a beautiful view across vineyards towards the mountains from the restaurant. 12 April 2013
