Rated 5 out of 5 by This was all that I'd hoped for and more. I wanted to learn how to take a better photograph without having to get too technical. This workshop was a fun, hands on experience, nicely interspersed with tips and information that will be useful to me. A small group of eight, we had a variety of different cameras and capabilities between us. Penny, our professional photographer was able to give us all the appropriate amount of time and answer all our questions. The three hours flew by and I came home with renewed enthusiasm and a certainty that my photographs will be much better in the future. 4 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This was an excellent learning experience This was a very professionally presented experience with a good balance between theory and practice . Penny not only clearly explained the features that can be used on my DSLR camera, but more importantly for me, I learnt how and when to employ them. With this knowledge and some great tips on selecting the frame composition, I have a much better chance of taking great shots. 29 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by I had a fun and informative time. The experience was most enjoyable and informative. The group was big enough to get a few different opinions and see what other people are doing with their creativity and also small enough to friendly and fun. I learnt a lot about my camera which was really great. 26 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A fantastic introduction to your camera and photography I learnt so much about my camera and settings in this course. The small nature of the group means you get a lot of personal attention. I understand a lot more about how to photograph in regards to light in particular. Well worth it. 15 March 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very enjoyable and informative - perfectly pitched by experienced teacher. With some understanding of how my SLR worked, I really had no idea how best to set it for different situations and pretty well always used it on automatic. Penny was an excellent teacher and was able to answer all questions in terms we could understand and to explain why the outcome was as it was. Perfect combination of theory, teaching and hands on practice. The setting provided lots of opportunities for those with artisitc flair to create some great shots and to get feedback from Penny on how they could be improved. 16 December 2012
