Explore the Great Barrier Reef and get up close to the natural beauty of this unique area with this overnight diving adventure. Live aboard your boat with a small group and spend two days snorkelling and scuba diving without any experience necessary! Experience guides and meals included.
Jump aboard and get ready to witness the stunning natural scenery and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef. You've seen the iconic images that are recognised around the world, now it's your turn to get up close and personal with beautiful coral and native marine species. The boat sets off to the Outer Barrier Reefs, either Thetford or Moore Reefs; here you'll be able to snorkle up to four sites. This area is ideal for snorkelling as it boasts high coral coverage and a range of fish, it also offers a visibility range that can stretch 10m-18m depending on the weather and tides.
Stay the night on the boat and enjoy a meal with your group. Then it's off to bed so you can rest, the next day you will be diving! The boat has everything you need; meals, water, fresh linen, bathroom facilities and beds are all found onboard.
The next day you'll travel out to the dive site, you'll receive your briefing on the way over and by the time you get to the designated spot you'll be ready. Everyone buddies up and your instructor will be with you the whole way. More experienced divers can venture off a little on their own, however. This dive will allow you to explore further down into the ocean and witness more unique marine life and their habitat. By noon you'll be back on dry land, tired but ecstatic with your underwater adventure!
Minimum age for diving is 12 years
Should a cruise not operate for any such reason due to weather, passengers will be offered an alternate trip or refund for the days lost.
