Your day will begin at a meeting point in Spit Bridge, you will be fitted for safety equipment and given advice on where is best to paddle.

You will then be set on your way to the water to explore the wonderful waterways of Middle Harbour for three hours in a single sea kayak. This kayak and paddle are stable, light and smooth through the water.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This experience is available 7 days per week
  • Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
  • Weekends 7.30 to 5pm
  • The last rental time will be 2pm for this experience

Numbers on the Day

  • A maximum of 60 kayakers can be catered for


  • In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.
  • If your experience is cancelled you will be provided with a Redballoon replacement voucher.

Dress Code

  • Please bring or wear the following clothing; shorts, swimmers, warm sweater or fleece jacket, T-shirt, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Footwear such as sport sandals, or wetsuit booties can be worn for this activity
  • You will also need to bring a change of clothes

  • Children between 6 years and 13 years of age can paddle in any double kayak with an adult
  • Children between 14 years and 17 years of age are able to paddle a single kayak if there is an adult paddling with them. The adult must stay within 10 meters of this child at all times
  • There must be one adult for every three children (over 14) paddling in single kayaks
  • Life jackets are supplied and must be worn
  • Participants should be able to comfortably swim 50 metres


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:


  • Over 24 hours prior to the experience date: No charge
  • After 5pm on the previous day, or on the day of the experience: a $25 administration fee applies
