This Kayak and Coffee tour is a fun and unquie was to explore Sydney's Middle harbour! Guides will lead you from Spit Bridge, toward Grotto Point and Middle Head giving you a taste of the life around one of Sydney's wonderfully secret waterways.

Your day will begin at a meeting point in Spit Bridge, you will meet your qualified kayak guide and be fitted for safety equipment.

You will then make your way onto the water heading towards Grotto Point and Middle Head. You will enjoy views out into the Pacific Ocean as you paddle toward Middle Head. Your guides will introduce you to the fascinating natural history of the area as well as the various flora and fauna you may encounter.

You will also be able to take a well earned break on one of Middle Harbour's pristine beaches where your guide will brew fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate whilst you muster up some energy for the short paddle back to the Spit Bridge!

This tour is a great way to get staff out of the office or friends together for a unique blend of fun and exercise on the water.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This is a 2 hour tour
  • Available on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Numbers on the Day

  • This tour runs with a maximum of 12 people
  • A minimum of 6 people are required to run each tour
  • Participants will be contacted by the experience provider directly to reschedule if minimum numbers have not been reached


  • In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
  • In the event of rain waterproof jackets are provided
  • If your tour is cancelled, you will be provided with a replacement Redballoon voucher

Dress Code

  • Please bring or wear the following clothing; shorts, swimmers, warm sweater or fleece jacket, T-shirt, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Footwear such as sport sandals, or wetsuit booties can be worn for this activity
  • You will also need to bring a change of clothes

  • Children between 6 years and 13 years of age can paddle in any double kayak with an adult
  • Children between 14 years and 17 years of age are able to paddle a single kayak if there is an adult paddling with them. The adult must stay within 10 meters of this child at all times
  • There must be one adult for every three children (over 14) paddling in single kayaks
  • Life jackets are supplied and must be worn
  • Participants should be able to comfortably swim 50 metres


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:


  • Over 24 hours prior to the experience date: No charge
  • After 5pm on the previous day, or on the day of the experience: a $25 administration fee applies
