Spend a day in the paradise of Moreton Island, where you can enjoy one of the most spectacular spots off the Australian coast. Your day starts with a scenic cruise across the magnificent Moreton Bay on the MiCat Ferry. Arriving at Moreton Island, you can choose to sunbathe on the sand or take part in a plethora of fun activities. Relax on the golden beaches, take to the water for some incredible views on a transparent kayak or paddleboard, enjoy a fully guided snorkelling tour or ride a toboggan down the island's dunes. For non-swimmers, you can try the see-through body boards and search for turtles, dolphins, coral and thousands of beautiful reef fish around the Tangalooma Wrecks.

After enjoying a freshly prepared picnic lunch on the beach, you will follow your guide out in a transparent kayak to see the hidden underwater wonders of the Tangalooma Wrecks and witness the awesome frenzy of fish feeding under the surface. Then it's time to head inland travelling in a rugged 4x4 to 'The Desert', an expanse of dunes where you can feel the exhilaration of sand tobogganing at speeds faster than 70km per hour! When you return to Tangalooma Beach, you will have plenty of time to swim in the crystal-clear waters while you wait for the ferry and enjoy a beautiful cruise back to Brisbane.

Numbers on the Day

There will be a maximum of 100 participants on the day.


The provider will make every effort to include ALL activities listed. However due to the extreme nature of Moreton Island and weather unpredictability, activities are subject to tide, wind and weather factors, and cannot be held liable due to these factors. In cases of poor weather conditions, scenic island tour may be conducted in place of affected activities.

Dress Code

Please wear casual clothing, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Bring swimming costume and beach towel for water activities.

  • Ticket price EXCLUDES National Park & Ferry Fees - $50 per adult & $35 per child to be paid in cash to driver upon departure
  • Fitness level required is low
  • Children must be under the supervision of parents/guardians


Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 72 hours, but not less than 24 hours, incurs a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice, but not less than 72 hours, incurs a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations with more than 7 days' notice will incur a 5% cancellation fee.
