Brimming with waterfalls, swimming holes and some pretty gigantic termite mounds, Litchfield National Park encapsulates all that’s wonderful about the Top End of NT. Check out Florence Falls and the Buley Rockholes, then break for a picnic before travelling on to Wangi Falls for a final swim. Next up is Mary River National Park, which is full of a species of saltwater crocodile found that are the biggest in the world! See how many you can spot on an afternoon river cruise. All tents are twin-share and come with a proper bed.

On the last day, you’ll have the option of taking a scenic flight over the billabongs, bushlands and floodplains that make up this ruggedly beautiful region. This is an additional $150 if you decide to take the flight. After a stop in at the Bowali visitors centre to learn more about the park before stopping for lunch and then starting the journey back to Darwin.

Dress Code

Bring a small bag, sturdy walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle (1.5L), towel, bathers, toiletries, camera and chargers.

Other Info

A strict luggage limit of 15kg applies. Please limit to one small to medium sized soft bag or backpack and a small daypack, which can be carried inside the vehicle. Please check with your pre/post accommodation provider about leaving any excess luggage at your hotel/hostel.
