North Stradbroke Island is your window into paradise– from the untouched beauty of its beaches and rugged coastline, to the crystal clear waters and abundance of Australian wildlife. Queensland’s most popular island is only a short 45 minute ferry ride across Moreton Bay. You will visit Brown Lake with its pure white beaches and its tea-tree oil infused waters. Time for a healing swim anyone? Then walk the Gorge. This fantastic walk around the rugged North Gorge headland includes some spectacular scenery. Don't forget to spot the wild life, Stradbroke has large colonies of koalas. Kangaroos can normally be seen lazing in the sun and in its crystal clear waters, an abundance of marine life can be easily spotted. This is your best chance to spot dolphins, sea turtles and giant manta rays in the wild!

Lunch is also included in your tour at the iconic Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel where you have your choice of a main course as well as tea or coffee. Then you will head up to Point Lookout, a bonus in Winter (May to October) is a great chance to see the humpback whale. A fascinating stop is the Myora Springs where you will hear about the battle between Aborigines and the military that occurred here.
