Lift off from Horn Island and enjoy a scenic helicopter flight to the northernmost point of the Australian mainland, the iconic Tip of Australia. Revel in vistas of deserted beaches and brilliant turquoise waters speckled with pristine islands, and look out for numerous marine life as you fly.
Horn Island, situated in the heart of the Torres Strait, is the gateway to a world of unrivalled scenery. Head to the clouds and enjoy a 45 minute scenic helicopter flight that takes you to the northernmost point of the Australian mainland, the iconic Tip of Australia. From birds-eye view, you will ogle at the azure waters dotted with islands, deserted white beaches, low lying wetlands, rainforest-clad mountains and waterfalls that flow out into the fringing reefs. Keep your eyes peeled for marine life that might strike up an appearance in the waters below including dugongs, dolphins, saltwater crocodiles and even humpback whales if in season. Your pilot will also point out historically significant landmarks as you soar above.
Please allow one hour for this experience, including 45 minutes of flying time and a safety briefing.
This experience is for two people.

Comfortable clothing.
There is an EPA ruling that prevents any helicopter company from landing on the sand cay if it is already occupied. Exclusivity cannot be guaranteed by any operator as the cay is open to boats and the public. If by chance another operator or members of the public are already there, we would then take an extra scenic flight to Turtle Beach, which is a lovely beach south of Cairns.
