Experience a fascinating day out in the town of New Norica Western Australia. During this tour you will learn about the history of one of Australia's Benedictine Abbeys and visit the world-renowned mystical Pinnacles Desert known to be one of Australia's most unique and picturesque landscapes!
Travel through the Swan Valley to New Norcia, Australia’s only monastic town which is renowned for its Benedictine Abbey. Enjoy a guided tour of the town and main sites including the museum and art gallery before stopping for morning tea.
Visit to Abbey Church – home to one of the only two large Moser organs, which will then be followed by a visit to St Gertrude’s College.
We then visit a produce shop selling olive oil, fruit, wine, New Norcia nut cake and breads, before enjoying a delicious lunch. Continue to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes and visit the Pinnacles Desert where you enjoy an easy paced walk through these mystical limestone pillars. *Wildflower viewing stops are made in season.) Return to Perth at approximately 7.30pm.
