Jump on board a bright pink, ex-military Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo vessel, your transport for this exciting one hour afternoon cruise. Your vessel will take you around the stunning coastline of the Southern Great Barrier Reef region of Eurimbula National Park and Seventeen Seventy, and cruise across Round Hill Creek.

As the afternoon sun approaches the horizon, watch as the sky and sea transform from vivid blues into pastel hues, as you experience the peaceful solitude of this tropical paradise.

Your experienced guide will share knowledge of the fascinating history of the local area of Seventeen Seventy, the birthplace of Queensland. As you travel you may be spot the abundant wildlife of this remote area, including kangaroos, sea eagles, turtles, dolphins and stingrays!

On the Day

Session Length

  • This experience lasts 1 hour
  • This tour is available daily
  • The tour departs at 3pm returning at 4pm; or departs at 4:30pm returning 5:30pm
  • Afternoon Cruise departure times may vary due to tidal conditions on the day. Please confirm your departure time with office staff at the time of booking.
  • This experience is not available on 25 December (Christmas Day) and 1 January (New Years Day)

Numbers on the Day

This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. There will be a maximum of 64 other people on the experience.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If your experience is cancelled you will be rescheduled by the provider.

Dress Code

Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are recommended.

  • Child: Ages 5-16 years
  • Senior: Must hold a valid Senior Card
  • A $2 Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Fee is payable on the day

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • Rescheduling
  • Over 24 hours prior to the experience date: no charge
  • Within 24 hours of the experience date: 20% per person participant fee. Transferral of booking within 24 hours of experience will also incur a $25 per person fee.
  • No shows and late arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
