This survival fundamentals course gives you an insight into what it takes to be a survivor. Under the guidance of expert instructors you will learn the core principles of survival in the wilderness. You will be taught how to signal for help, how to light fires without lighters or matches, how to collect water and how to build makeshift shelters.

Along with these invaluable skills you will also learn how to find water, how to handle a knife safely and delve into the psychology of survival. This course is designed so you can enjoy the experience and take home some valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of survival techniques.

This course is suited to those who love camping and explorer beyond urban fringes an into wilderness areas. You will be much better prepared should something ever go wrong in one of these situations.

On the Day

Session Length

  • Please allow 6 hours for the duration of this experience
  • There will be a 30 minute break
  • Each component of this course will last approximately 1.5 hours

Numbers on the Day

This experience requires a minimum number of 6 participants.

Weather

This experience will only cancel a session if the minimum numbers for the activity have not been met or severe inclement weather is present.

Dress Code

Please wear loose comfortable clothing for this experience.

  • Average level of fitness is recommended
  • No experience is required
  • Medical form must be completed on the day
  • Disclaimer form must be signed on the day

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.

  • Cancellations within 7 days will incur a 50% re-booking fee
  • Cancellations outside of 7 days will incur a $30 re-booking fee
  • The supplier reserves the right to cancel a session up until and including on the day of the proposed activity
  • This experience will only cancel a session if the minimum numbers for the activity have not been met or severe inclement weather is present
  • If a session is cancelled for the above reasons, you will be issued with new vouchers to re-book your session
