Filled with award winning restaurants and cafes, Newtown is a vibrant, bohemian neighbourhood where you can find just about any cuisine - from clean-eating vegan cafes to award-winning bakeries, Asian food, pie joints and everything in between; the food on offer reflects the diverse backgrounds and tastes of Newtown's residents.
Stroll down the main road and sample sweet and savoury dishes at an array of different venues, learning about each unique place and its offerings. You'll also get to wander through Camperdown Memorial Park and the popular Newtown Markets as well as sample Australia's most photographed cake!
This tour takes place monthly on selected Saturdays, starting 11am, but often fills up a few weeks in advance!

This experience requires a minimum of four people to go ahead, and can cater for a maximum of fifteen people.
The provider will cancel tours if the temperature surpasses 40'C in summer. Participants will be notified 48 hours in advance if a tour is to be cancelled. Participants will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.
There will be walking involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if needed.
