This half day tour is your opportunity to sample some of the very best cool climate wines, handmade chocolates and cheese from Tasmania. This experience takes you direct to cellar doors and enjoying local produce.
This full day tour will allow you to enjoy some of Tasmania's best wine, chocolate and cheese, along with the (season permitting) opportunity to pick some fresh strawberries or fruit directly from the farm. This experience departs from Hobart and takes you east along the Tasman Bridge to Coal Valley wine region - one of the largest wine growing areas in southern Tasmania.
The first stop is Coal River Farm, Tasmania's hub of handmade chocolate, cheese and farm grown berries and fruit. Sample some handcrafted cheese and chocolate, plus if it's the right season, you will have the opportunity to pick some fruit too.
Next stop is Riversdale Estate for the first wine tasting, at the largest privately owned vineyard in the region. The following vineyard is Frogmore Creek Wines, one of Tasmania's most awarded, family owned wineries. Enjoy a vineyard lunch after your tasting, consisting of seasonal produce with a glass of Frogmore Creek's red or white wine. Your next stop is at Pooley Creek Wines, another highly awarded family-run winery in the region, with an environmental approach to their wine making. Your final stop for the day is located at Hobart's waterfront, at Domaine Simha, for a wine and cheese tasting, with views of the beautiful Hobart harbour.
Tours depart at 8:45am and return to Hobart at 4pm
