When you arrive at the impressive Leeuwin Estate you will be welcomed with a glass of Brut and fine canapés as you are given a tutored viewing of the art gallery. This gallery houses a unique collection of contemporary Australian artworks that feature on the labels of Leeuwin’s premium Art Series range of wines.
Next you will be taken through a tutored wine tasting of five Leeuwin Estate wines outside on the verandah against a backdrop of endless natural beauty. Relax and unwind and allow the aromas and flavours swirl around your nose and mouth. Spend a while being in the moment, allow the peace and tranquility of your surroundings to envelop you. For the piste de resistance, your host will introduce you to your chef for a private cooking demonstration, featuring local produce and introducing the culinary philosophy and culture of the estate. The restaurant is renowned for utilising a “paddock to plate” philosophy, focusing on regional produce and working closely with local artisan suppliers to create seasonal menus. Four seasonal dishes will be served, each with matching wine to complete the dining experience. At the conclusion of the cooking demonstration you will enjoy a dessert, coffee and be given a special memento of a recipe book to take home.
This experience operates daily at 10:30am and takes approximately 5.5 hours to enjoy.
