If you have visited Bali, you'll know how mouth-wateringly delicious Indonesian cuisine is. During this class you will learn to create a 'Rijsttafel' (Rice Table) - a banquet of authentic Indonesian dishes. Joining this class will be Dutch-Indonesian Paul Rast, who will be sharing his mother's and grandmother's closely guarded recipes.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This class is 5 hours in duration, comprising of a 4 hour cooking lesson followed by a sit-down meal
  • Class times: 10am - 3pm

This class runs with a maximum of 10 people

Please wear comfortable closed-in shoes and no loose articles of clothing, and tie back long hair

Guidelines

  • Minimum age is 15 (under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • Menu is subject to change depending on seasonality and availability of ingredients
  • Please advise of any dietary restrictions when booking and the experience provider will try to accommodate you
  • The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted before or during practical cooking classes. For the safety of the individual and others, persons deemed to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate in a class.

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

Rescheduling

  • Over 1 week prior to the experience date: No charge
  • 48 hours to up to 1 week prior to the experience date: $50 per participant fee to change class date and time
  • Within 48 hours of the experience date and No Shows: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
