This 4.5hr Patisserie Masterclass focuses on Macarons, Shortcrust Pastry, Choux Pastry and some delicious fillings and decorations. By practising the skills in the class, you will have the confidence to make beautiful macarons, tarts, éclairs and profiteroles in your own kitchen.

In the masterclass we cover around 10 different recipes. Here is an example of a typical menu:

  • Macarons: Two different flavours
  • Shortcrust pastry & chocolate shortcrust pastry
  • Choux pastry (profritteroles & eclairs)
  • Crackling for choux pastry
  • Crème patissiere
  • Lemon & passionfruit curd
  • Italian meringue
  • Chocolate glaze

The menu is subject to change.

We also offer another Patisserie Masterclass: Mousse cakes, Caramels, Coulis & Macarons. Each masterclass covers different recipes and techniques so you could enroll in either class or both if you wish. You do not need to do one class before the other.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This experience lasts for 4.5 hours and runs on selected Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays
  • Dates and times will be supplied by the experience provider

Numbers on the Day

Minimum numbers for cooking classes are 6.

Dress Code

Please wear flat closed in shoes and no shorts.

Guidelines

  • Minimum age is 14 years old
  • Menus change seasonally due to the availabilty of seasonal produce

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and are arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • Bookings can be rescheduled to an alternative date if arranged more than 72 hours of the original booked class
  • Missed cooking classes will not be refunded and cannot be rebooked
  • The experience provider reserves the right to change your class date within 48 hours of your scheduled class if the class does not fill to the minimum number of 6 people
