Hands on cooking classes in a small group that are fun, informative and a great feast in a relaxed and fun environment. Each class is a 3 hour session run by an experienced chef that will guide you through the process of creating delicious meals. There is no individual work space but you will work in small groups to make the dishes off the menu, before enjoying them altogether.

Sample menu - you will cook three of these dishes on the day

  • Onion Bhaji with spiced cauliflower puree and nigella seed and coriander bling
  • Fragrant Nigella and rose petal naan or lavash/lavosh
  • Delectable Duck braised in ras el hanout and star anise, served with spiced carrot puree and fabulous green bling
  • Home-smoked beetroot and maple salmon with crispy skin on a bed of pea and parmesan puree
  • Lavender panna cotta OR caramel pear and ricotta tarts with spun sugar and vanilla gelato

The class will cover both cooking skills and the art of presentation across a range of moods and styles. You will learn the art of culinary bling which is very chef-y, very easy and very impressive!

These classes are suitable for all levels of passionate foodies whether you are just beginning, are intermediate, or consider yourself advanced. Enjoy a 3-4 course meal and you are welcome to BYO! Bring your camera to capture the moments!

On the Day

Session Length

  • Please allow 3 hours for this experience
  • Weekday classes start at 6.30pm and Saturdays are usually at 11am
  • Some classes are also run on Saturday evenings but times vary
  • Subject to availability

Numbers on the Day

All classes are conducted in small groups of maximum 14 people.

Dress Code

Please wear sensible closed shoes or you will unfortunately not be able to participate.

Guidelines

  • Anyone can enjoy these classes as long as you are willing and able
  • All children must be over the age of 12 and must be accompanied by a paying adult
  • This class is not suitable for people on a gluten or egg free diet

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and are arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • A minimum of 48 hours is required to reschedule/cancel your booking.
  • If you cannot make it you are welcome to send someone in your place or forfeit your voucher.
  • In cases where there are less than 8 people registered for the class, the experience provider may reschedule and will offer you an alternative date within 48 hours of class.
  • No shows, Late Arrivals and cancellations within 24 hours of class: participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances.
