Indulge yourself in a hands-on chocolate making workshop designed for the inquisitive and creative chocoholic! Find out how real chocolate is made and experience the pleasure of making your own. You'll leave the chocolate workshop with your own handmade chocolates and the skills to make even more.
This chocolate making workshop is the perfect indulgence for any chocoholic! Your chocolate workshop begins with a brief discussion about different type of chocolate. Afterwards, you will be entrusted with the secrets of making chocolate truffles and given a choice of eight enticing flavours so you can try your hand at making your own.
With the guidance of the chocolatier, you will firstly make the ganache using a flavour of your choice. While you are rolling the ganache into delicious, bite-sized balls, your workshop assistant will make everyone in the workshop a great cup of coffee.
Enjoy your coffee and maybe even indulge in one or two chocolates from our delicious chocolate range! After making the ganache, you are then given a choice of a variety of finishes for your truffles. These may include a cocoa powder, or rolled nut finish, you might even have the opportunity to enrobe your creations using the chocolate machine, as well as decorating them. After the class, all of your handmade chocolates are yours to take home!
The price quoted is for 1 person. We operate with a maximum of 18 people per session.
This experience takes place indoors and is therefore not affected by the weather.
You must bring an apron to the class, and wear closed in shoes. Hair protection will be provided. Be prepared to get some chocolate on your face and hands and if youre lucky, some may even land in your mouth!
