Experience the best of Tasmania’s award-winning craft beverages on this full day tour. Departing from Hobart, you'll sample the state's finest whisky, wine, beer and cider, meeting passionate winemakers, whisky producers and restaurant owners, while going behind the scenes to discover their craft.
Your day begins at Hobart's Franklin Wharf, where your guide will greet you with tea and coffee before you set off to the Huon Valley. Here you will enjoy a delicious tasting session at Home Hill winery and a walk through their beautiful vineyard. Next stop is Pagan Cider House, just 15 minutes down the road, where owner Harry will guide you through a cider tasting. Your next destination, The Apple Shed, with have you sampling their iconic apple brandy. Here is where you'll stop for lunch, which ranges from about $20 - $25, and is not included in the price of the tour.
After lunch, you'll head back to Hobart for a whisky tasting at Lark Cellar Door and Distillery, before moving onto Sullivans Cove Distillery. Awarded world’s best single malt whisky at the World Whisky Awards in 2014, Sullivans Cove is one of the most sought-after Tasmanian whiskies. On this tour, you'll meet the distillers as well as treat your tastebuds to some of their produce. Then it's onwards to Last Rites Brewery, where you'll sample their latest beers straight from the taps. The tour ends back in Hobart, at Hobart Brewing Co. for a beer with views of the sunset - the perfect way to end the day!
